Convert HEIC to PNG
HEIC photos sometimes carry transparency or need lossless handling before editing, and PNG is the safer target than JPG when you'll re-edit the image.
When you'd use this
Pulling an iPhone screenshot or Live Photo still-frame into a design tool like Figma or Photoshop that doesn't read HEIC.
Worth knowing
PNG is lossless, so the file will be noticeably larger than the HEIC original — convert to JPG instead if you just need to view or share it.
