Convert TIFF to JPG
TIFF is the lossless, layer-capable format scanners and print/photo workflows default to; JPG is the small, shareable format everything else expects.
When you'd use this
Sharing a high-resolution scan from a flatbed scanner or DSLR RAW workflow to email, upload or preview somewhere that doesn't handle TIFF.
Worth knowing
TIFF files are often huge (uncompressed or lightly compressed) — expect a dramatic size drop converting to JPG, with a small, usually imperceptible quality trade-off.
